We know these are difficult times for families, especially as our nursery schools and children's centres are having to shut. The books will continue to arrive monthly for our under-5s - they feel more important now than ever. Big love to our families.

We are thrilled to have been nominated by The Entertainer store in Bradford's Broadway shopping centre to receive a £1,000 grant from their Jack Gives Back With Pennies fund. This really makes a difference to small children's charities like ours.

One of our lovely families has been filmed for a news item for the BBC's special week based in Bradford this week (11-15 March). Sadaf and her boys have been receiving books for six years now, and the whole family value their contribution to education and family life.

Canterbury Nursery School has become the first in Bradford to be awarded a Centre of Excellence title. This came from the Inclusion Quality Mark - we're so proud that this is where Canterbury Imagine began and we hope we played a little part in this success.

Children at Midland Road nursery school and children's centre were each given a free book as an Eid present at Eid parties.

Canterbury Nursery School and Centre for Children and Families and Midland Road Nursery School and Children's Centre help parents to register their children.
